Please let us know if you qualified and competed at the RI or HOYS in 2011 – it would be nice to do some reports to look back on whilst we wait for Summer 2012 to begin! For now there is a summary of BSPS Summer and Heritage champs for area 5 members.

BSPS Summer Champs 2011
A number of area 5 members took a championship or reserve place:
- Charlotte Elliot-Grooby and Bryndefair Anja Reserve – Champion Mini Champion of Champions
- Faye Ludow and State Policy - Champion Premier League Intermediate
- Imogen Sidaway and Cosford Perilla - Reserve Tiny Tots
- Heidi Coy and Thistledown Royal Cadet - Champion Heritage Mini WHP
- Phillip Armson and Hanmere Showman - Champion Heritage Mini WHP
- Heidi Coy and Thistledown Royal Cadet - Reserve Pretty Polly Mini WHP
- Samantha Bell and Oakhouse Cock Robin - Champion Heritage Novice
Unfortunately our teams were not placed in the premier league area team competitions, but our members still had some good results throughout the show.

Area 5 members at BSPS Heritage Champs 2011
Heidi Coy had a fantastic show with her two heritage ponies Forlan Honey Dancer and Thistledown Royal Cadet, with three wins and a further five placings in WHP classes. Well done Heidi.
Well done also to our other members who also attended and were placed: Henry Barton Smith on his LR pony Eastways After Hours, Charlotte Elliott-Grooby riding Bryndefaid Anja in the FR classes, Sophie Holder and her Connemara WHP Cascade Star, Olivia Smith on her LR pony Forlan Caprice, Sam Bell and Oakhouse Cock Robin, and Ellen Cutler riding her Fell pony Inglegarth Reveller.
